The graphic symbols on the PC power supply label contain a wealth of information, mainly including input parameters, output parameters, power supply type and certification marks, safety warning signs, etc. Here are the meanings of some common symbols:

Certification mark

3C Certification Mark: This is the mandatory product certification mark in China. On PC power supplies, it is usually the "CCC + S&E" mark, indicating that the power supply has passed safety and electromagnetic compatibility tests and complies with relevant mandatory requirements. Power supplies without this certification cannot be sold in the Chinese market.

80 PLUS Certification Mark: Issued by the U.S. Department of Energy, there are different levels such as white label, bronze label, silver label, gold label, white gold label and titanium gold label. The corresponding level will be indicated on the label. The higher the level, the higher the conversion efficiency of the power supply under different loads, and the more energy-saving it is.

RoHS Certification Mark: A mandatory standard set by EU legislation. The marking is usually green, featuring a leaf pattern or the word "ROHS", indicating that the power supply complies with environmental protection requirements in terms of materials and processes, and does not contain six harmful substances such as lead and mercury.

CE certification mark: It is the European Conformity Certification mark. Products sold in most of the European Economic Area must bear this mark, indicating that they meet the basic safety requirements stipulated by the relevant EU directives.

CB Certification Mark: This is an international electrical certification standard. On the power supply nameplate, there is the word "CB", indicating that this power supply has passed the safety performance tests based on the IEC standards conducted by various member countries of IECEE, and the test results are mutually recognized among these member countries.

FCC Certification Mark: Established by the United States Federal Communications Commission, it features the "FCC" logo and covers more than 50 states and regions in the United States, ensuring the safety of radio and wired communication products related to life and property.

Service life indication: It is usually a pair of arrows enclosing a number, such as 10, indicating that the service life of this power supply is 10 years.

Do not discard the label: Draw a large X on the trash can to indicate that this power source should not be discarded casually and requires special treatment.

Prohibition marking for disassembly: Usually, it consists of a prohibition symbol along with a screwdriver, serving to alert users to avoid opening the power supply by themselves to prevent electric shock or damage to the power supply.

In addition to the aforementioned certifications and efficiency indicators, other graphic symbols may also appear on the power supply label, such as power supply type (e.g. ATX), fan specifications, warranty information, etc. These symbols help consumers understand the basic characteristics of the power supply and the after-sales service policies.
